Award Winning Service

SMD are extremely proud to have won four Sussex Heritage Trust Awards for Aldingbourne Country Centre, Goodwood Education Centre (two awards) and the West Wittering Beach Café.

All the winning projects were of differing scales and this shows that no matter the size and scope of a project, with the right approach it too can be a great success… and potentially award winning!

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

SMD Construction Consultancy has expertise in the delivery of residential, commercial, and urban projects of all different sizes. Below is some of our most recent projects.

St Francis Court

Coronation Homes needed additional housing and SMD were appointed as Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor for the construction of four new bungalows.

MDL Headquarters

SMD were appointed as QS on the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing Yacht Club building into MDL’s brand new Headquarters in Ocean Village, Southampton

Northney Roundhouse

Appointed as QS on the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing Roundhouse from offices and retail into luxury 2, 3 and 4 bed apartments on Hayling Island.

Conference Centre

SMD are very proud to have provided project management and quantity surveying services for the Aldingbourne Trust new £4.5m Conference Centre

Graylingwell Chapel

The restoration and extension of Graylingwell Chapel, a Grade 2 listed building, originally constructed as part of a large Victorian asylum built in the late 1800s, was a £2m National Heritage Fund supported project.

March Stand

We provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the refurbishment of the ground floor of the March Stand, with SMD undertaking the tender negotiations with the contractor.

Aerodrome

SMD provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the refurbishment of the existing Goodwood Aerodrome building.

Biomass & ORC

SMD provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the new Biomass & ORC project, supplying renewable energy for the Goodwood estate.

Education Centre

SMD provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the refurbishment of the Grade I Listed Gordon Rooms at the Goodwood Estate

Gordon Rooms

SMD provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the refurbishment of the Grade I Listed Gordon Rooms at the Goodwood Estate

Roof Replacement

SMD provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying Services for the replacement of the roof of the Trafalgar DryStack in the Portsmouth Harbour.

Beach Cafe

SMD were proud to have worked with West Wittering Estate to provide a new beachside Café and education centre.
